Capture Screen

Capture a new project and prepare for publishing. Follow these steps:

1. Launch DemoCreator and click the Record button.
2. Select Full Screen then click Next.
3. Choose Screen Shot then click Next.
4. Make sure all Record content checkboxes are enabled at the top, and click Next.
5. Now each time you click your mouse, a screenshot will be taken.
6. Click the DemoCreator icon in the system tray, and then click Stop.
7. Slides will now be generated based on your input.

Publish to Flash

These steps will save your project as Flash:

1. Click the Publish tab, select Video, and choose FLV as the Video format.
2. Click Publish to being the conversion process.
3. Below is what the .FLV result looks like.

Export to Flash Video or Shockwave Movie

Read this article to see how to capture fullscreen, then do the following to export the project as an Adobe Flash Video or a Shockwave movie:

1. Click Export – Flash Video (FLV).
2. Select the Video and Audio options you desire.
3. Click Browse, if the extension of the file is .FLV the output will be Flash Video, if the extension is .SWF the output will be a Shockwave Movie.
4. Click OK to being the export process.

Import slides from Microsoft PowerPoint

Do the following to import an existing PowerPoint file (.PPT or .PPTX) into ActivePresenter:

1. Open ActivePresenter.
2. Click the Blank Project link on the start-up page.
3. Change the project name and location as needed, and then click OK.
4. Now click Insert - Insert Slides from PowerPoint.
5. Select the PPT/PPTX file to import, click Open, and then click OK to finalize the import process.

Export to Flash Movie

To export the project as a Flash video file (.FLV), do the following:

1. Click Export - Flash Video (FLV).
2. To just get the raw Flash output, make sure that all Rendering Options are disabled.
3. Click the Browse button and choose the output file name, then click OK.
4. Verify that the output file name is correct and click OK to begin the conversion process.

Import slides from Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX)

Do the following to import an existing .PPT or .PPTX file into ActivePresenter:

Convert the output to an Adobe Macromedia Flash video file (SWF/FLV)

To export the project as a Flash video file, do the following:

1. Click Export - Flash Video (FLV).
2. Make sure the option Embedded in HTML is enabled.
3. Click the Browse button and choose the output file name, then click OK.
4. Verify that the output file name is correct and click OK to begin the conversion process.
5. Click Yes to view the results in your default web browser (see screenshot below).
