ActivePresenter is freeware screen capture software that can easily output Flash movies. Create an online tutorial or training simulation viewable in a web browser. Record your desktop, mouse and keyboard actions, and with one-click create Flash (.FLV) output that can be viewed with virtually any web browser. Read below to see how this feature works in ActivePresenter Professional.

Capture Screen

Capture a new project and prepare for export. Follow these steps:

  1. Launch ActivePresenter.
  2. Click Capture.
  3. Select Full Screen then click OK.
  4. Now each time you click your mouse, or press a key on the keyboard, a screenshot will be taken.
  5. Click the ActivePresenter icon in the system tray, and then click Stop.
  6. Slides will now be generated based on your input.

Export to Flash Movie

These steps will export your project to a Flash Movie:

  1. Click Export – Flash Video (FLV).
  2. Select the Video and Audio options you desire.
  3. Click OK to being the export process.
  4. Below is what the .FLV result looks like.
