Print2PDF can digitally sign and stamp a hand-written image signature to any file or form. This example will use the simple IRS W4 Form (.PDF) that includes editable text fields, but does not include a PDF signature field. You can use Print2PDF to sign anything, even forms that do not have a standard digital signature field, by printing the document to the Print2PDF printer. Read below to see how this works.
Add Digital Signature
Print the form to the Print2PDF printer using Adobe Reader and do the following to add a digital signature:
- Enable the Add Digital ID feature.
- Click Edit Digital ID.
- Click Select… and choose your Digital ID from the list, then click OK.
- Enter the Reason and Location as needed.

Add Hand-written Signature Stamp Image
To add a stamp of your scanned hand written signature, doing the following:
- Enable the Show image signature feature.
- Click Browse… and select the image with your hand written signature, then click Open.
- Select the option Manually place the signature and drag the signature to the location.
- Adjust the Signature size slider as needed.
- Click OK to confirm all Digital ID selections.

View Signed PDF Document
Click Save to begin the conversion process. If the Open in Adobe Reader option is enabled, the output will automatically open in your PDF reader. Click the Signatures tab on the left to see the details on the digital signature added by Print2PDF.
