JACKSONVILLE, FL – BinaryNow, Inc. announces Scan2Encrypt 3.0, an easy-to-use and affordable software tool for scanning into PDF. Scan2Encrypt uses any scanner or webcam to convert hard copies of documents and photos into secure and searchable PDF files. It provides filter, content redaction, merge, multi-language OCR, 256-bit AES encryption and support for direct upload to Dropbox or sending by email using Microsoft Outlook or directly through SMTP server. Scan2Encrypt currently supports Microsoft Windows 8.x/7/Vista/XP. Support for Windows 10 will be available upon this new operating system release.

This is extremely easy to use software and it takes only few clicks to scan multiple pages, load images from hard drive and then merge them into one PDF document. Multiple scanners with TWAIN interface or webcams are supported. Scanners can be used in dialog or in a silent mode. New redaction tool allows to permanently delete any sensitive content like social security number, car tag or address before PDF file is created.  Use of the latest PDF security with 256-bit AES encryption secure private document’s content with a support for two levels of password protection. A password can be configured to protect the document upon opening and a different password can be defined to control any document changes. PDF document permissions allow or deny document printing, changing the document, content copying and extraction to effectively protect the document content.

Built in OCR (optical character recognition) converts scan or photo with text into searchable text in PDF. OCR is based on Tesseract and default language support includes English, German, French and Spanish, more languages can be added on. Additionally to PDF format, export into the most common graphics format including, .jpg, .png, .tiff, .bmp and others is available. Crop scans, de-skew any misaligned text or images to horizontally straighten them and convert whole page to grayscale or to black & white with ease. Newly created PDF documents can be automatically opened in a default PDF reader or opened in PDF Impress Tools for further PDF manipulation, save to local drive, upload to Dropbox or send by email. This is must to have product for any PDF Impress or Dropbox user with scanner or webcam.

Pricing for Scan2Encrypt 3.0 starts at $19.95 for a 3-user license and ends at $999.95 for an unlimited site license. OEM licenses for scanners and webcams manufacturers are available.
