SlimPublisher 3.0 is now available for download. This update is free for all previous 2.x users. The list of new feature additions and bug fixes are as follows:

  • [Artistic QR Code] Modify standard QR code for aesthetic purposes, make it easier for people to recognize a brand or simply stand out among the crowd. Insert: image (e.g. logo), shape or text into QR code and change color, angle or opacity. Use build-in readability checker to verify that content in the QR code is readable after you inserted the other “object” into it.
  • [vCard Export] One click export of all information encoded into QR code into vCard file was added.
  • [Insert Code 39] Code 39 is a common barcode type used for various labels such as name badges, inventory and industrial application. Quickly create labels or insert barcode into any design you created.

  • [More templates added] Many new designs were added to the template collection. Now includes  new QR codes (2D barcode) templates. All templates are fully editable and include the matching design for business cards, letterheads, flyers and postcards.
  • [Label support] Label type was added to the standard template size. 8 different sizes are preset from 1.75”x0.5” to 2’x2”.
  • [Label paper support] (6) Variety of Avery labels papers (# 5167, 5162, 5161, 5163, 5195, and 5160) were added.
  • [QR Code Label sizes] (2) Variety of Avery QR labels papers (# 22806 and 22805) were added.
  • [Faster rendering] Improve performance of rendering when some elements are dragged.
  • [Windows 8] Support for the latest Windows® 8 (x86 and x64) was added.
