    I have 6 years old notebook with Windows 2000 on it. Microsoft Office or even OpenOffice are very slow on it. Is there a hope that Kingsoft Office would be faster?

  2. Yes, it should. Generally speaking Kingsoft Office 2009 is faster and smaller then its competitors. My recommendation is download trial and see it for yourself.
