Kingsoft Office 2010 was released. Upgrade from 2009 to 2010 is free.
Learn more here:

http://www.binarynow.com/products/kingsoft-office/

If you use 800x600 res then all icons on "Formatting" toolbar do not fit in the screen. However you can right click the toolbat click "customize" then go to the "Formatting" and change the order of the icons the way you like it. This way the icon will show up and do not require the double click through right toolbar submenu.

The option to have slightly larger icons on the toolbars would help me. I use SetRes to change my screen resolution to 800 x 600 but this pushes the superscript and subscript options off the screen.

Yes, it should. Generally speaking Kingsoft Office 2009 is faster and smaller then its competitors. My recommendation is download trial and see it for yourself.

Here are some resources:

Free Kingsoft Office 2009 trial download:

http://www.binarynow.com/download/

System requirements:

http://www.binarynow.com/products/kingsoft-office/system-requirements/

Quick CPU and memory usage comparison:

I have 6 years old notebook with Windows 2000 on it. Microsoft Office or even OpenOffice are very slow on it. Is there a hope that Kingsoft Office would be faster?

My Microsoft Office 2002 isn't supported any more. I found that I cannot email a Word document as an attachment. My current computer has a Vista operating system (sorry to say) and I'd like to have your new version on it as well as updating your old 602 system on my wife's XP machine. Will that work if I install the Kingsoft Office on both machines? I'd like to do that today if possible.

I left 602PC SUITE when I purchased a new machine using Vista (I don’t like it but it’s what I have). I also still have an XP machine. Is Kingsoft Office compatible with both? Can I send saved documents via email using webmail or Windows Mail?
